Welcome to Clarksville Veterinary Clinic

Summer is here. Remember that your pets can get overheated and it can be deadly. Keep pets indoors especially during the hot hours of the day. Fresh water needs to be provided at all times. If your pet is outside, make sure it has adequate shade. And never, ever leave your pet in a vehicle. Even with the windows open, the temperatures can soar.
PARASITES are out and about!!! We have diagnosed seven cases of heartworm disease in dogs this year. Make sure your dog is current on its annual heartworm test. Heartworm preventative, ie Heartgard Plus, needs to be given monthly year round. Did you know that cats can also get heartworms? There is a Heartgard product just for cats. Fleas and ticks are also thick. Keep ALL of your pets on Frontline Plus monthly. And to combat intestinal worms, Drontal Plus is the way to go. Please call if you have any questions.
If you have not had a chance to visit us at our new location, please take a moment to look at the photos in our photo gallery. The photos are a brief tour through our new hospital. However it is much more exciting to see in person. Please come visit if you have not had a chance. And to those who have already visited, please come again. We love seeing you and your pets.
Our new hospital is a 2000 square foot facility devoted to treating your pets. The new facility provides innovations and improvements that increase potential for advanced care, while maintaining the personal atmosphere and small town hospitality that people expect from Clarksville.
We have added laser surgery as an option for our patients. Laser surgery is a less painful form of surgery. Laser surgery has fewer complications, less bleeding, less risk of infection and greater comfort for the pet. I have see great results with laser surgery. Please call and ask us questions about it.
